Xiong Jing Nan, known for her boxing prowess and superb conditioning, was in control for all 5 rounds. Ultimately winning the fight via unanimous decision.
Michelle Nicolini, on the other hand, was unable to impose her grappling game on Xiong. While there was plenty of take-down attempts, these were largely unsuccessful. Without access to her grappling skills, she ended up being out-strike by the reigning champion.
